You may as well keep it stock, but if you're inclined to change it, the Surfer Custom is what I'd opt for.

Wow, very impressed! Clean sounded especially good. Not as thin as I would imagine for a bridge single coil on a smaller sized guitar. Very good tone. And nice slideage on the dirty clip!

Have not looked yet. I am going to do a set up this weekend and I will see what it looks like under the cover.

It is a Vox AD-15. It is a great little practice amp/home recording amp. I dropped in a Weber 8" Speaker and swapped the stock 12AX7 for a GT12AX7M.

They seem like a no brainer to me but everyone has different tastes. There are a ton of useable sounds to get out of it though I think the Fender models are kind of weak.

You know so far it is a very cool guitar, can't find anything about it I don't like.

Sounds great, I love the simple layout, it's well made (in the USA) and I think it looks great. I am glad Gibson decided to bring these back. I couldn't justify the money of an original but for anything under $500 it is a no brainer.

The beauty of an axe like that is that it does sleaze better than any other guitar made, that distorted clip is pure sleaze!! Sounds real good!
