Hey guys, my band, A CLEAN GETAWAY, finally got around to finishing up these two demo songs and posting them on myspace.

Take a listen, and friend us please!!! Download the MP3s because they sound MUCH better than the streaming audio.

Keep in mind this was done for $0 in my basement studio. We used pro-tools, but basically used it like running straight to tape. Not a ton of editing, no auto-tune, nothing really fancy. Just tracking it, some reverb and panning and stuff.

The only thing I'm relatively disappointed in was the bass tone in distance. Basically, we got a great take, but a really muddy tone. Had to fix it quite a bit with some EQing, but it still doesn't sound THAT great, but for a demo, it'll do.

We had a great time really utilizing the Egnater MOD50 amp at this session. Just keeping the mics set up and the 2x12 in an iso booth, and just swapping out modules, was a REAL time saver, but got us an incredible amount of tones.

The Duncan Custom in the bridge of my LP, just recorded incredibly well. Despite being ceramic, it just sounded warm and huge and ballsy. Great, great pickup.

Specific info about the tracks:

Re: 2 Song DEMO finally finished. Take a listen!

Doesn't sound bad at all for a home recording. I have a home studio setup and also do home recordings so I wasn't expecting much, but good job.

thanks man. For the next recording, we did the drums in a pro-studio, got a GREAT sound on those, and took alot more time sounchecking and getting our tones right. Bass, guitar, vocals... the whole 9.

Can't wait to post those. They'll be done soon.
