2 volume 1 tone wiring? wtf?

So i've got my dave mustaines wired up and have no idea how to get the tone wired for both the bridge and neck separately.

Right now i just have it hooked up to the bridge because its more important there. I tried wiring it where i split two wires out of the tone pot, one going to the bridge and one to the neck but then the two pickups were all messed up and no longer separate. seymour didn't include directions for using 1 tone pot can someone explain how to do this?

Put the tone control after the switch. Neck & Bridge Pup -> neck & bridge vol control -> selector switch -> tone control -> jack
