2003 Dean Hardtail in Vintage Cherry Sunburst. Bone stock except for the pickups and the tuners. Hardtails are some of the nicest playing PRS style guitars out there, and are 100% made in the USA. Specs are as follows:
Mahogany Body
Thick 3/4" AAAA Carved Flame Maple Maple Top
Ebony Fingerboard
Custom "Hardtail" Inlays, abalone and sterling silver
Locking Tone Pro's AVR-II Bridge (stock)
Locking Grover Rotomatics 18:1 (originals were Grovers, but non locking)
APH pickups (nickel cover, but both are double creme underneath with logo's)
Special "MJ" custom wind on the bridge APH, slightly hotter at 8.43K
Jumbo Frets
Graphtec Nut (standard)
Sperzel Straplocks
Leather OHC Dean Hardtail Case
It has a couple of very minor dings on the top. Nothing thru the finish, just 2 small one's from the tip of a screwdriver from changing pickups. They will not show in the pictures. Zero fretwear, fantastic playability.
This is my favorite playing guitar of all time. The neck is like butter, and the ebony board is jet black and feels like glass. The Dean moulded heel is the nicest neck joint I've ever played. Even though it's a set neck, it feels and plays like a neck through.I've spent a lot of time adjusting this guitar and tweaking it setup wise to get it absolutely perfect. It breaks my heart to sell this guitar, but circumstances dictate I must.
