I am selling my 2004 Gecko LP. This guitar has never been gigged/left the house, it has a couple of dings that don't show up in pics. I just bought a 1987 LP Custom and I don't need 2 LP's so this one is going, actually I am buying a Jerry Donahue Tele and I can't afford to keep both. The pickups have been replaced with Rio Grande Muy Grandes, a higher output, evenly voiced type of pickup. The guitar also has push/pull pots for coil splitting, this works very well with these pickups as they are not a traditional humbucker. The pickups are actually 2 of Rio Grandes hot single coils wired together like the old Jeff beck strats, so when you split the pickup you get an actual strat pickup not half a humbucker as there is a difference. The pickups also differ from standard humbuckers due to the fact that since they are strat pickups there is no bar magnet in them, the pole pieces are the magnets. Price is $1550.00 shipped.
