2006 Jackson SL3

hello all,
I have a sweet like new condition Jackson Sl3 in Flame top Transparent Red. It has an Original Floyd Rose , JB in the bridge and 2 hot Rails Middle and Neck.
Neck through body etc etc etc.

I have a factory Jackson Hard shell case that will come with it long with the Jackson Manual , Allen Keys and factory serial number tag. It's never seen a gig , no Smoke and it doesn't leave my house unless I'm getting a setup or playing at a friends house which has only been a few times.

I'm looking for $700.00 but I'm open to very fair offers. I will ship in the USA only! I'll have to get a price for shipping to whom wants it if it's not a local pickup. Local pickup is very welcome.

These are older pic's if someone wants new ones , I'm willing to take some new ones.

After talking to some of the guys over at the Jackson/ Charvel Forum, I have my price way to high. I was told it's worth around $600.00. It's worth more to me then that so I'm gonna keep it. Unless I was offered something between 600-900 fair I might part with it but It's a keeper any other way.

That was one of the best sounds guitars I've ever played live. My former music pastor wasn't paying attention and ran into it--totally ruined the neck and being a neck-thru it was gonna cost more than the guitar to fix...$900 is too high for the market value (I bought mine used for $500 with the original case) although I'd say they definitely sound and play like they are worth every bit of $900. I've seen several hang around eBay for around the $600-$900 range but haven't really seen any movement...

I would second you keeping it--I haven't been too impressed with alot of the newer Jacksons, and I think you would have to spend a whole lot more to get something comparable...just IMO.

That totally sucks yours got ruined. That would break my heart. I had no idea what to try and sell it for and thought since mine is in new condition I could ask a premium for it and I have the case. But Market determines the value and if it's only worth $600.00 then I can't see selling it as I can't go buy anything close to this quality for that kind of money.$600.00 guitars IMO are cheaply made and have sub par parts on them. I'm sure there are some nice guitars in that price range but I haven't played one.
I feel good guitars start at $799.99 and up. I know mine is used and older but I'm keeping it. I see no reason now to even consider selling it unless someone was willing to pay what I want for it.
I gotta agree with you on it's sound quality, it's absolutely fantastic for many kinds of music and if you dial your amp in to match it's sonic's , your in for a real treat.
I've played and had a few Dinky Jackson models here at my house and as nice as some of them where they don't match the overall performance of my SL3. The SL3 is on par with the SL1 IMO. I've played both and almost purchased the SL1 but I locked in on the SL3 . Some magic happened when I played it and it came home with me all those years ago. The other Model I really liked back then was the SL2, that guitar had some really awesome tones to it. The HH setup was amazing. I'd like to find one of them in a hard tail.

Yeah it really stunk. My Taylor acoustic was broken at Church and I was like accidents happen...but when my Jackson SL3 was busted I made sure my guitars stayed close by to me and never left my sight. I no longer play live so its all just studio and in home stuff. But powered through the house the SL3 sounded better than any of my Gibson Les Pauls or USA Strats...was hard to describe but just had that awesome tone live. In the studio I couldn't get the same effect as live.

I think you would definitely be better off keeping it--market price on that guitar is too low for the quality and awesomeness it entails. And I agree, I would put it right up there with the SL1. For me, I've started custom ordering my latest guitars because I don't have to buy something and then completely rework it. I pay a few hundred more than the $799 you stated--but I think that is a good price range...can get a new American Strat for that.

Re: 2006 Jackson SL3

Ok folks it's been in it's case way more then I play it. So I'd like to see it go to someone who will love and play it.
I'm completely open to fair offers. It's in Mint condition with no damage or deep scratches of any kind.
Anyone is welcome to come over and test drive it before you buy.

Re: 2006 Jackson SL3

I'd be very interested in a TC Electronics G system trade

Re: 2006 Jackson SL3

Just an FYI to interested parties, this is NOT the new SL3 X Series.

Killer guitar, would love to take her off your hands but all free cash the next two months is paying off a Martin on layway.

Re: 2006 Jackson SL3

Very True this is a Japanese Built 2006 Model and it's about as nice as you can get for a used guitar. I took very good care of her and she stays in her case when not being played so none of that oxidized crap you see on most used guitars due to people leaving them out.

Price Drop $700 or best offer. Shipping will be determined on sale location from 19021

Re: 2006 Jackson SL3

I was gonna just keep it as I was asked more money and no takers. Over the last month I've been building a new Pedal board and man it gets costly. I want to get a ES-8 from Boss so I need to fund that or I gotta wait to recover from all the pedals I just purchased.

Thanks for the comments, she is one sweet mean ass guitar. In damn near perfect condition.
