For your consideration...

I have a 2008 Gibson CS Les Paul Axcess.

This guitar has some monster upgrades to the tremolo. First off, the Korean made Floyd was replaced with a German made Floyd...and it was upgraded with multiple FU TONE Titanium items. Big block, string lock screws, claw, saddles and nut locks/screws....OVER $700 IN FLOYD ROSE UPGRADES!!!!!

This LP comes with the stock 490/480 pickups with a factory push/pull coil tap. Factory CS case and case candy and certificate are included. Factory Stinger.

Its been played, but its still in EX condition....no cracks, breaks or repairs. No worming on the back and No dents on the top. The neck is a meduim C...not super slim. It weighs 8.4 lbs.

It has a great, low action....wonderful fretwork. The tone is spectacular....a great rock/blues guitar.

$3950 plus shipping....no trades please

Thanks for looking!

It's too bad that you attached that God awful pickguard and covered up that beautiful top. Otherwise, I would be all on this.

If only I had a spare 4K and nothing to spend it on.
Every time I come to this thread, I fall deeper and deeper in love with this guitar. Lol

the floyd is one of the main features of the access models. dont worry, there are tons of other lps out there!

If only it didn't have a Floyd.....*sigh*

I don't understand floyd hate.

Even if you're strictly a hardtail guy . . . just block the Floyd and enjoy never needing to tune and never going out of tune no matter how hard you bend strings. It's better in every way than the traditional TOM setup.

I don't hate Floyd Rose tremolos. I'm just think they have a place, a Les Paul isn't one of them. It ruins the esthetics of the guitar. Let me ask you a question, would you break up the nice modern lines of say a Jem with a Bigsby? It would look just as out of place as a Floyd or Kahler does on a Les Paul. If it added anything, or was desired by the masses Gibson would cash in. It's not, so they don't. It's more of a niche market.

Before I get accused of living in the past "old man", it's not about that. It's about the simple archaic beauty of a Les Paul. I don't even own a Flame Top, mine are all Plain Top guitars. I like the grain and random mineral streaks. It gives them character. Some people like flashy, some people like simpler things. It's all preference and taste. Just like my bike, simple black metal flake and chrome. Some things don't need to be flashy, they speak for themselves.

I actually dig the cutaway on the neck joint. That's probably what puts the name Axcess into play. That to me is more of a redeeming feature. It's a beautiful guitar, no doubt about it. I'd love to see one with a ABR-1 or a Bigsby. Just my personal opinion, nothing more. I just think a Floyd on a Paul looks out of place. There's a market for it. I'm sure he'll have no problem selling it.
