The KILLSWITCH Momentary Line Selector is a new, utilitarian Electro-Harmonix pedal. In Kill Mode, the KILLSWITCH can be used to provide instant muting. It can also be used to create interesting stutter effects by turning the instrument’s signal abruptly on and off for hard rhythmic in/out transitions.

The new EHX NEO MISTRESS presents the lush flanging Electro-Harmonix is noted for. True to the classic Mistress, the Neo’s design adjusts the harmonic sweep to present the varied tonal density that flanging brings to musical performance.

EHX has now created the ultimate Deluxe Memory Man equipped with Tap Tempo, Expression Control and an Effects Loop. Adding Tap Tempo ensures that you will always be in sync with the groove, wherever your performance takes you.

The programmable Stereo Talking Machine, Vocal Formant Filter, presents creative vowel shaping that is controlled by the player’s dynamics. Nine selectable Voices deliver vowel sounds such as AH-OO and OW-EE.

EHX been doing some cool stuff lately. The new Muffs, the Frezee and the Neo Clone are just awesome. The Neo Mistress looks awesome, but I would love to see a Neo Hoax. I know that a pedal that powerfull wouldn't fit on such a small package, but they could at least use a die cast similar to that of the new DMM and have the jacks placed sideways in order to make it easier to fit that thing on the pedalboard.

Re: 2011 Electro-Harmonix Pedals

theres absolutely nothing wrong with those metal boxes, i like them a ton more than the old sheet metal.

Re: 2011 Electro-Harmonix Pedals

Not bad it seems those new releases, certainly all of them have the EHX factor/flavor to them :)
A bit curious on how the Nano Mistress will perform, I do hope for the best, let's hope it turns out nicely and the Nano-series will get a decent performing version of the regular sized pedal.
Deluxe Memory Man looks pretty neat, of course the high price was to be expected...
That Talking Box really breaths EHX all over I think, the concept is just at home at EHX, they might have created another "special" that is actualy useable to some at EHX ;)
Don't really care for the "Killbox" they got there to be honest, might be a gadget that finds it's way into the nu-metal scene and whatever.

Re: 2011 Electro-Harmonix Pedals

Can't see the 'Kill Switch' being too useful . . . I mean, anyone with LP style controls already has that built in, anyone with a 2 channel amp already has that built in (turn the gain down on one channel), anyone with a pedal tuner already has that built in, anyone with a dirt box can get the same effect (by turning the gain all the way down), and anyone with a Fender style guitar can easily add a kill switch to their guitar. Can't see someone buying it for more than about 10$ or so . . .

I'd be interested to hear how the 'Talking Machine' sounds.

Re: 2011 Electro-Harmonix Pedals

Anyone know if the neo mistress is analog? if so i wonder if it will be a cheap answer to my GAS for the hartman flanger. the neoclone is the smallcone with the new coolaudio chips. hoping for some andy summers tones from the neomistress.

Re: 2011 Electro-Harmonix Pedals

Are these still made in the US?

Not up to date with EH.

Re: 2011 Electro-Harmonix Pedals

The Killswitch looks a bit redundant: The mole can be used as a killswitch too. I believe that both the Screaming Bird and the Signal Pad have this capability as well...

yes, though most the pots and components maybe even the SMD PCBs are prob made in the far east.

more like they are put together in NYC.

Re: 2011 Electro-Harmonix Pedals

1. You guys ragging on the Killswitch need to do your research.... check out this vid around 2:52... It's not just for killing the signal like the "killswitch" you're used to... The real functionality comes out when it brings in an effects loop momentarily... I don't know if I'd ever have a use for it, but it doesn't just eliminate your signal like assumed.

2. Does anyone know how this new Deluxe Memory MAN is different than the Deluxe Memory BOY that was released last year?

3. The most innovative thing they came out with is definitely that Talking Machine... EHX is great at pushing pedals forward and I think this does this a bit. I mean, honestly, it's a talk-box without the hose, but a very cool idea that I look forward to people using in the future.

Yeah, I'm interested in hearing the Stereo Talking Machine! I'm sick of all the traditional effects. Can't wait to plug into that one.
