2nd hand EDWARDS KH2, worth buying?

Hi guys !

I just wanted to ask your opinion on this guitar:

It's an EDWARDS KH2 made in Japan.
Body: alder
Neck: maple
Fingerboard: rosewood

Pick-ups: some esp's passive I think.

It seems like most of the metallic parts are pretty rusty (including the bridge).
Anyways it's selling for a bit more than US$300.

I say why not since Edwards are generally a bit better than LTDs and at $300 you can probably afford to change out most of the rusty bits or at least bother to spend some time polishing them up a bit and swap out the pickups/electronics.

Did you try asking on the bmusic forum? Figured that'd be a good place to ask since they're Australian and have an Edwards forum section as well.
