2x12 cabinet should I buy??

I've been looking at getting a 2x12 cabinet. I've been looking at the Avatar vintage and contempry cabs.

I saw this cabinet on eBay for $20 bucks.

do you think I should get it?

I wouldn't. Looks mostly made out of chip/press board.

Ayrton, please make a photo thread of your gear, or direct us to a site that has all of it!

Your cabinet work over the past few years just blows my mind. That Marshall built to Bogner OS 212 specs, if I recall correctly, is something I wish I had so badly.

I should bite the bullet and change the cane cloth on mine to salt and pepper. As it is, I'm mostly playing my XTC on top of the salt/pepper 1960AHW with 2 Vin 30's on top and 2 G12-75T's on the bottom. It's dialed in more for rock than metal, but will do it all.

I am finishing up an orange B cab to go with the head now. The purple head is with Dave Friedman at the moment as well.

Once I get all that finished up, I will try and catalog what I have finished.

The 2x12 is very close to Bogner specs (as is the Mesa, Engl, and CAA). Right now I have two G12H30s in there, and it is a bit "wolfy". I plan to swap in a G12M to see how that does.

Damn thing needs casters as well. Friggen heavy!

I have a 212 orange closed back cab
it is pretty killer! really heavy and bulky tho.

If you don't have anything specific in mind, I'd suggest heading to a used gear store like Music Go Round and checking out their stock. You'll get something less expensive, already depreciated, that you know will work well with your amp.
