I ave ealized hat Doors Down as retty kick butt one, oth guitarists d. Des anne no hat thy se, especially on their "Away rom the sun" album?

I know they have used Line6 and Mesa.... I'm not sure if they still do. Can anyone verify that?

Henderson endorsed H&K a few years back, and I'm pretty sure that's what he was using during Away From the Sun. He's also a big PRS fan, and just got his own signature guitar.

Shooting from the hip without having listend to the album in a while I'd say the Custom or C5 and a 59 would get you close.

Which lad is the lead singer again? Damn, H&K is out of my price range. I do have a PRS McCarty though, half way there! hahaha.

Get a life...... You ever heard of the word "Freedom"? BluesGuy is welcome and free to post a thread about whatever band or piece gear he wants. Its totally uncalled for to piss on someone whos posting a serious thread about gear or a band they are interested in. Everyone's opinions and tastes very, you as a guitar player should know that. It all goes back to, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Grow up and act your age... seriously... Who the hell died and made you king? Huh? :fing25:

Sure...I may agree to that.

However lo-fi and I have managed to demonstrate a sense of humor, something you seem to be lacking in a manner almost wholly unseen previously.

If you can't laugh at your idols and you can't laugh at yourself then what's the ******ned point in life anymore?

If you can't laugh at yourself or your idols than the point in life becomes being an anal retentive jackass who shoots their mouth off or gets offended every time someone makes a funny comment about their idol.

The sense of humor you were demonstrating was at the cost of someone else. I doubt they appreciated it much. I know I wouldn't appreciate it much if it was said to me. It was simply uncalled for and there was no constructive reason behind it. Therefore I find it disrespectful.

See ya know whats funniest about this whole thing?

You get your panties all up in a bundle, Write this serious "I'm Pissed off blarg!" post ranting about "ya ever heard of freedom" an all that, like some weirdo "yay! America" trucker with a nice big "freedom ain't free" bumper sticker or sumthing. All Tryin to prove....sumthing I assume. An yet, I read this and I'm just laughing my ass off. haha. Please continue, This is way funnier than anything I could think of.

Also I'm not really sure if you noticed the Irony in your own post, So I'll explain it for you.
See You're telling me To "respect others freedoms" (although admittedly Your way of saying it sounded Infinitely more eloquent), yet simultaneously Trying to tell me Not to express those same freedoms. You totally get an E for effort though. Good Job! I'd give you a gold star, But I ran Out reading the FStDT's site.

So you think you should have the freedom to be a immature and disrespectful punk eh? You know exactly what I mean't. Nice attempt of trying to talk yourself out though. I'm not as pissed off about the situation as you think. Theres been alot of disrespect on here lately, and its starting to get on my nerves. This forum is supposed to be fun. Theres no reason for alot of the disrespect I have seen on here lately. How hard is it to talk nice, stick to the thread topics, and not be a disrespectful smartass? That was a smartass comment. Theres a big difference between being a smartass and just simply saying 3 Doors Down just isn't my cup of tea.
