3 pot take on "Jimmy Page" wiring w/o phase?

Adieu

Brain freeze kind of day... I can just omit the phase push-pull here from the circuit, right?

Then what do I do with the red and white bridge wires, connect em and tape em off? Also, what the hell do I do with all the bares, ground em or what?

If you omit the lower-left push-pull from the circuit completely, then the red wire would be your signal wire, put that through to the input of the vol pot, and put the white to ground. That pickup won't be connected to any tone, just its vol (push-pull). If you want the remaining tone to be master tone (for both pickups) then:

1. each pickup should first be run to its respective volume pot
2. then vol out run to their respective lugs on the switch and
3. then two wires should come off the output lug of the switch (center lug of the switch), where
a. one goes to the jack,
b. and the other goes to the tone.

All shield/drain or bare wires should go to ground.

Do you also want series/parallel on that tone?

Yes.

Preferably with a hum-cancelling middle position with both buckers split and put in series

Actually.... that was pretty much the whole idea
