3-Way Blade Question

The wiring diagrams SD provides on their website indicate left and right side lugs. My 3-Way blade just has 8 lugs on one side. I've heard north/south terminology used for pickups but honestly I just want to install this pickup and don't really care about the science or the compass points.

Specifically, I'm wiring a JB/'59 with 4-conductors, a 3-way blade, and a tone knob push/pull switch.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah man, that's how I had it wired up and my '59 measured 8k but the JB also only measured around 8.5k. When I have the JB out of the guitar it measures 17k.

the red/white connection should be soldered and isolated so it doesnt touch anything. if you are getting 8.5k, something is grounding out one coil
