35 Inch Scale Bass

Re: 35 Inch Scale Bass

Just like a Gibson vs. Strat: more piano-like tone, harmonics jump out a bit more...

Re: 35 Inch Scale Bass

I have a grabber copy that seems much longer than my precision bass... i only notice that i have to reach a little more to fret that F note on the first fret.

the E string is nice and taut.

Re: 35 Inch Scale Bass

I've never played one, but I've heard that once you get over the slighter reach, then they are really nice to play on. I assume that's the same for all basses or guitars though.

Re: 35 Inch Scale Bass

Just as Motown had the Funk Brothers, the L.A. recording scene of the 1960s had their own group of musicians that worked on so many hits.
This man was one of the "first-call" players.

It's a signature spammer.

I suspect that it is a 'bot.

The text and sig may have been repeated verbatim from another thread.

"Context is everything." In this case, the context could well be a discussion on Motown bassists or one of Ginormous/Reggie's birthday threads.
