I got to play on some of that stuff over the weekend. Very cool amps.

He was a lovely sort.

I've been rehearsing bands for 7 years at my house ith no complaints but I wizzed your neighbor off in about 7 minutes. Thats a new record for me!

Germs amps = cool
Germs neighbors = not cool

Looks nice Jeremy. How does the trainwreck sound? IIRC, trainwrecks fetch some top dollar... which schematic did you use? There's like 10 different versions on schematicheaven.

I'd like to build a Dumble clone. I'm wondering why with all the boutique builders out there, they arent cloning one of the most sought after boutique amps (either that or I don';t know about them).

Germ, I love it man. Keep adding to this world's wonderful tones. You're making the world a more sonically beautiful place. I heard those 'wrecks can be a real beast to tame. I'd love to hear some stories when you get done.

Scott, you come a long way since I had to jack you up over a gold MIM Strat. I'd like to think I get some of the credit for some of the money you've spent in the last 5 or 6 years!

setup:

lead (channel 1) and dirty (channel2), gain 75%, tone controls 50%, volume about 2
clean (channel 3), gain 50%, tone controls 50%, volume 2 or 3. it isn;t a 12ax7 either. or any derivative.

played thru a 6V6 power amp, maybe 15watts, and 2 4x12, my trusty ampeg reverberocket, loaded with who knows what eminence, and a madison 4x12, loaded with celestion vintage 30 and g12t-75, diagonal pattern, with alternating circuit (one side runs vintage 30 at top for series, the other side runs g12t75 at top for series).

guitar was EMG 85 equipped.
