See, I'm sort of torn between black and tortoise, and honestly the only thing that's holding me back from tortoise is how many low quality ones I've seen, but if I could get one of that quality.. damn.

Well that one is an original Fender part and I'd have to say that there is nothing about it that would cause me to question its quality.

It's a pleasure to see well cared for guitars. I really like the tortoise. Chris' bass just screams class.

I do like tortoise on a Fender sunburst bass. But it looks awful on a Strat IMHO.

I have a parchment pick guard on my 3 tone sunburst strat with zebra H-H configuration. I like it a lot more than I thought I would. The parchment and the cream coils look great together.
