There's just a real badass quality to it. I loved the design when I saw it. Then I learned it was Leo's prototype design. Then I found out it's called a snakehead. Doesn't get anymore Rock n roll than that.

Yeah anything can look like a boner if you're that way inclined. :18: haha i kid i kid dont report me.

3x3 is such a hassle.

Hmmmmmm i like it and all but it might be a bit too ''grandpa'' for my build.

well back to shapes, either a version of the ran 4x4 headstock or the snake head headstock would be nice

This one i drew up might work. It could bewither straight pull or have some slight angle.

Of course, when this guitar body is finished, you might be able to purchase it for a substantial bit of coin...

Thanks, but it far off from being finished... Big learning curve, this is attempt 12.

None of the internal routing is done because I am not sure how to program it for the control cavity and backside to same and because of that the top can not be glued unit the internal routing is figured out.

I still have to figure out how to do the binding on the outside of the top.

As a Fender player, I've been looking at all the head stocks everyone's been posting. If I was going away from a Fender design on a Strat, it would be for the PRS style. It has just enough attitude to make a statement without getting too radical. You could even emphasize the curves if your guitar calls for it. It would look great with a natural finish or painted to match the guitar body.
