I might could see the price if it was one of HIS guitars and he signed it. Forget collector's value, I'd rather have an autographed photo and a guitar that I wasn't afraid to play.

epi is not a replica.

epi was before gibson and then gibson bought them and shifted the production overseas

paul never went to gibson, he stayed with epi throughout and his ones are MIA.

Yes, the guitar in question is infact a replica. It is a replica of a guitar owned by Paul McCartney.

It think it's a kind of joke...

It's a guitar that went on a limited run of 40... Right? So how much would go a Taylor or Martin on a limited production run without any famous autograph? 5000$-6000$? So you are paying 35000$ for an authograph.

Like someone said it's better to pay 5000$ for a great, over the top, acustic and wait for him outside his hotel to get a autographed photo. You'll have both things for a tenth of the price.

Perhaps if a guitar was signed by all members of the Beatles, Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Iommi then it might be worth 40 grand. Even then that's murder.
