500k or 250k volume/tone pots?

I am building my new guitar, and i had a question for you sound guys here. With a TB-4 in the bridge, hot rails in the middle, and cool rails at the neck, what volume and tone pots should I get? They will all be push/pull, but what would make the most sense, 250k or 500k?

Thanks.

500k with double coils and 250k with singles is, I believe, the general rule. And Rails are double coils, despite their size.

yepp that's the general rule of hand (?).
But the JB was invented to use with 250k pots. It's matter of taste! With 250k you should have a bit less highs than using 500k.
Dunno about the railbuckers....

I like using a cool rails, cool rails, distortion combo in a strat. I always use 500k pots for that, and I do split them. I like how bright the singles are when they are split
