500k pots for hot rails

Does anybody know if you need 500k pots for Seymour Duncan hot rails for tele to balance out that low and high

Well, they were designed to drop right in a Tele, so they work well 250k. But if you find them too dark, you can always bump them up to 500k.

I have a feeling that 500k's gonna be real bright, but it may sound badass!!!

I do a 150k volume with a 1meg no load volume myself. It makes it so that the no load doesn't make it too bright.
