It sounds best with 500K's, most recently I had one paired up with a hot rails. I had success in the past with an SDS-1, but that's probably not what you're going for. With either of those you've gotta have a full sized single coil cutout in the pickguard.
It keeps up with PAF's, that's what I ended up doing, then I got the BG1400 and out it went.

Hi ELELPE,,,I found this post saying that you have a QP and Prails combo...can I have a diagram for it? we have the same pickups set...my QP has the tapped version..what pots do you used before? is it ok to use both 500k with .22 capacitors? thanks!

I used 500k pots with 0.022 cap, 1 vol and 1 tone. And mini toggle switch for P-rails. My QP was the non-tapped version. I'm sorry I can't provide you a wiring diagram. A tech did it for me. I suggest you make a thread for that. I'm sure certain members of this forum, like Hermetico will gladly help you with that. What I can say is you'll love that Swiss Army knife pickup combo.

You'll have to modify this diagram to get what you want. This shows all of your setup including the P-Rails neck pup, but for the bridge pup you only need a spdt switch. The "pole" of the spdt is the output to the vol pot, one "throw" is to the full wind wire of your QP, the other "throw" is to the tapped wire. If you have a dpdt on/off/on switch, you can use that too (just one side) but the middle position will turn your pup off. Solder the middle lug ("pole") to the wire to the vol pot; solder the tapped wire from the QP to one lug of the dpdt; and the full output wire to the other lug of the dpdt.
