500k Volume and 250k Tone VS 250K Volume and 500K Tone?

I have to rewire a Gibson. I only have 2 250k's and 2 500k's. What will give me the least amount of treble loss? 250k's in the Volume or in the Tone? My caps are .022

If you care about treble you ought to spend a few bucks on a couple more 500k pots, maybe even 1 Meg pots.
