500k volume pot HsH setup

I have a HSH strat with a 500k vol pot. the single coil is quite bright, that being said am I better off changing to a 250k or just rolling the tone pot for the single coil. I like the humbuckers with the 500k but not so much the sc. is there much diffrence tonally for the sc if I change or would the tone pot pretty much do the same thing for the sc. any suggestions.

You can use a resistor of your value choice to darken the sc by connecting 1 end to the sc hot lead and 1 to ground. 500k will theoretically simulate a 250k volume pot but you can go lower if you want.
