500T vs. Distortion???

Is the 500T brighter than the Distortion? What SD pup does it most sound like?

Darker than the dist, I find it to sound a bit like a Custom, but a little more aggrissive. I never had the two in the same guitar, however.

cant say that i really like the 500t all that much. not bad overall tone, but the clarity was crap

The Distortion is a bit brighter than the 500T. The 500T is more like a custom with alot more A$$ (output) behind it and a tad less clarity.
