5150 Combo Amp + Focusrite Scarlett Reamping

I plan on buying a 5150 combo amp soon, and would like to play amp sims through the amp, which would allow me to get more tones than just the 5150 itself. I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, which has 2 RCA line-outs, so would it be best to do:

Guitar-Focusrite-line out-reamp box-5150 input

or

Guitar-Focusrite-line out-5150 effects return

I know that the preamp section is disabled when using the effects return (which is what I need to be able to use different preamp sims) but if I use a reamp box through the input of the 5150, will the preamp cause any issues since it isn’t being disabled?

Thanks guys!!

I don't think this is going to work at all. The outputs of the Solo are RCA outputs. What you'd want is something with line level outs that you could plug into the FX return of your amp -- and even that would be worse than just using a cab sim and your desktop speakers.
