just recorded this peice using my 5150 head into a Marshall 1960A cab using a Shure sm58 mic into the front of my audigy zs sound box thing, then into cubase, no eq, no mastering nothing, just tracks recorded over each other for the harmonies, apologies on the sloppy playing, ive had a few cold ones :P

anyway i was just wondering what you all think on this, its my first amp - cab - mic - computer type recording, all the others i did with line outs.

Sweet tone!

What guitar did you use! ;)

Rock on! :headbang:

Dude, that's really cool, and killer melody work. Awesome crunchy tone, but it's a tad buzzy in the high end, but all Peavey high-gain amps tend to be like that, and it'll be solved with bass and drums put in.

What guitar did you use?

i used my Mexican Fender Fat Strat Fr, with the bridge pickup the Sd Full shred. amp gain at 4.8 plugged into the high gain input

Not bad, man! Not bad. I aggree with DSS3 about the fuzzy high-end, but then I own a 5150 so I know all about it. Good tones, though, and good playing.
