5150 with EL-34's

supposedly it good, but you would have t get a some work done to be able to use them in a 5150, the 5150 II has a rebias switch etc..

5150 II doesn't have any kind of rebias switch at all - it has a very short-ranged knob for 6L6's, but you can't put EL34's in it, stock.


Honestly, I think it'd sound too mushy/middy with EL34's.
