Who has experience with both? I have a WLH on order coming in tomorrow, will the WLH make my 335 sound a bit more like an LP? (bit more aggressive, in your face, PAF tone);
More aggressive a bit yes...more like a LP? not so much.
The bigger difference will be more that the WLH's wont sound as wooly the 57's and at the same time will be warmer and clearer with more attitude.

I just find the 57 classics meh in every way.
Accurate description. And why settle for 'meh' when there's so many other great ones available? Seymour has a passion for PAF's.
Heck - GIBSON makes a bunch of better ones!
True, BB's sound much better with their wind and unbalanced coils, & Gibson's gotten a creative spurt recently with several good new PAF's (after a long lull). I don't why they've stuck '57's in most of their guitar models at some point or another. Maybe they have a warehouse full of them to use up.
I was interested in trying the BB Pros when I got my explorer and couldn't wait to yank them out after plugging it in. That guitar did not work at all with the same settings as my other guitars. Now that it has a OG Diablo and old jazz in the neck, it sounds outstanding.Its funny, the BB pro is more often called thin and raspy - it all depends on your ear, rig and target tone......and a bit of what you have gotten used to beforehand.
