59/custom hybrid vs. Dimarzio Super Distortion?

I've never played a Super Distortion but I'm wondering if anyone has compared it to a 59/custom hybrid. Do share any similarities (yes, I know they don't have the same magnet and one is asymetrical).

They are nothing alike!

Actually, the hybrid is very unique and I cant really think of something that is close to it.

A lot of EVHs early guitars had that Super Distortion loaded into them (the destroyer). Makes me wonder what it would sound like through my Marshall ...
