I've been gone for a while but I'm back with a new question. I'm putting a 59/Custom in my strat with a toggle for a split, wondering which coil is the most output. 59 or Custom and is it the slug or screw coil?

The slug coil is Custom and you should split to that. If you wire it up to split the traditional way (red/white wires tied together and then grounded), it will split to the Custom coil.

Keep in mind the whole pickup is likely out of phase with stock Fender singles. If that happens, swap the green and black wires.

Oh gotcha, then unless they are SDs, they still could be out of phase, so check before you put it all back together.
