LtKojak New member Nov 8, 2012 #21 Re: 59 magnet question I put low tag painter tape and tightly clamp the p'up and put it in a vise, THEN I apply the solder with a 100W iron. Works like a charm, never had a complain in thirteen years of guitar-teching.
