59 neck/bridge with a dimebucker.

Howdy, I am currently getting everything together to fix up my old guitar, it's a dean ml with a dimebucker. Now I understand that SD makes a dimebag set with a 59 bridge pup for the neck position, but I'm not exactly sure why. A while back I paired a 59n with the invader in my c-1 and didn't notice any major volume differences or anything, and I don't think there is a major difference in the output of the invader vs the dimebucker but I could be wrong.
My question is has anyone tried the 59n and 59b with the dime? And if so, which did you prefer? Where there really any volume differences or anything wonky?

They do it 'cause it was the setup used by Dimebag Darrel, so they made his signature pickup (Dimebucker) and his signature set. Dime used the 59 bridge in the neck because he wanted a warm pickup with more output than standard neck ones...
I've never tried, so I couldn't help you, but it's all about what you want and the music you play.

The 59b in the neck position will match the output of the Dimebucker a bit better than the 59n would.
