'59b double black, no logo & 4 Conductor

Re: '59b double black, no logo & 4 Conductor

I've always found it to be $10 for the 4-conductor. I suspose it just depends on the dealer. It is a custom order item.

Re: '59b double black, no logo & 4 Conductor

yea, it also takes longer to get that because most SD's come with a logo. Sometimes you may get lucky though with no logo. As for 4-conductor, i haven't seen a lot of the stores online upcharging for 4-con vs. 1-con, but at worst it's $10. However once you go no logo, then there's a wait of several weeks due to having to take a bobbin out of normal assembly. a sort of "shop-floor custom" if you will

Re: '59b double black, no logo & 4 Conductor

thanks for the replys! actually i guess it would be about $10.00 more, I was looking at shipping as well. The reason i ask is that i bought one in July and had it in my LP for about 2 hours and its been on my bench every since. I had planned on selling it but was trying to figure a fair price first.

A fair price used is about $13. I'll take it. :D

Re: '59b double black, no logo & 4 Conductor

why does a '59 bridge with 4 conductor wiring and no logo almost $20.00 more than a regular '59?

Well it is 2 more wires and they have to hire someone to take the pickup away from the stamping line.

That is expensive.

I always order my '59s with 4 wires, and I have never been charged more??
