59B for the neck

In about half a month I'm going to buy my new guitar but I want to load it with Duncans. I decided to put a Custom TB-5 in the bridge position and a Full Shred neck in the neck positon. The last days though I'm thinking about the 59B in the neck, I think it will sound quite unique.
Have anyone tried this?

It'd be to bassy for me...I'd go with the 59N. Lew

Well it's a matter of taste and playing style. For neck humbuckers, I like 8K or less...

Otherwise, the lows from the neck pickup sound to woofy and I have to turn the bass way, WAY down on my amp, which then makes the bridge pickup sound to thin.

Re: 59B for the neck

59b is my favorite neck pickup!! I have one in my Explorer and in my RG570.
It has a great "smokey" blues tone and can flat rock out when I want to and the clean is not ultra crisp, but is clean with a warm feel to it. I sometimes go the whole jam session with just the neck pup on.. One of these days Im gonna try it in the bridge..
