59B slug coil is cream shouldnt it be black?

this is an older non logoed baseplate version. Is this they way gibson did it? can someone school me?? thanks

the '59 I've got in my Washburn has cream and black colored bobbins.

Duncan's "regular zebra" was meant to differentiate Seymour's fabulous work from the rest of the crowd, I suppose. Duncan also sells "reverse zebra" ala-Gibson, for those who want the cream slugs/black screws for various reasons.

This sounds like a "reverse zebra" (ala Gibson scheme) pickup. I like the reverse zebra look myself.
