'59n VS PGn?

I'm getting a Pearly Gates PG trembucker in the mail soon to put in my PRS. I got a '59 in there right now. So I thought maybe it would be cool to have just PG p'ups in it. How does a '59n compare to a PGn?

Re: '59n VS PGn?

I much preffer the PGn over the 59n in a guitar with similar construction to a LP.

I feel that the PG is fatter in the mids, has lows that are less boomy, and is a bit clearer over all under gain than the 59. I also think that the cleans are beefier, though they don't sparkle as much as the 59n.

I really like how the 59n matches the PGb in my Les Paul, The 59n is one fat Mother F*cker sounding pickup. i had a PGn in my Les Paul and it is a good pickup but I felt something was lacking compared to the 59n..... who knows I may give the PGn another shot but for now the 59n sounds great!
