'59s n SH2 on a basswood RG270..

im thinking of changing pickups on my Ibanez RG...would the '59 in the bridge gimme that tight low end "jugga jugga" palm muting sound..i play stuff like metallica..n also..would the Jazz give me a decent clean sound n also a good rhythm distortion?..cuz ive heard them on les pauls..they sound really bright n have really good tone..but im thinking mayb the mahogany gives it extra brightness..so do u guys think that itll go well on my RG?

No the 59 is not made to play metallica , not powerfull and full enough .
You would be better with a TB6 Distortion in bridge and a full shred SH10 in neck ( or a jazz if your guitar isn't too loud on basses ) for a nice metal set in mahogany ( dark wood )
