Im building a cabronita copy, and i'm looking for a 6 saddle bridge to fit the 4 hole telecaster layout. I havent found any yet, but if anyone knows where i could get one that'd be great. If not i'll use a savalas bridge, or it might be possible to cut off part of a 6 saddles tele bridge i already have.

Thanks

the 6 saddles one from gfs has 3 mounting holes, i need 4, i'll probably just get a 3 saddles one in the end

Re: 6 saddle cutaway tele bridge

Get a cheap $5 tele bridge from the bay to practice on but yes if you clamp it down flat to a sacrificial bit of wood (take the saddles off) and carefully saw it. You should be able to get through and then you just need to file away the burrs. However if its chromed that will end up looking a bit rough.

1) If you're not totally married to the 6 saddle idea:

2) Pretty much every Strat hardtail bridge will do. Forget what the guitar body is drilled for. That will all end up under the bridge, and won't affect anything. Don't be afraid to drill a hole or two in to top of a guitar. I used to be, then I did it a bunch of times, and nothing bad ever happened.

3) Dremel the end off any 6-saddle Tele bridge. This is what I'd do. No big deal.

Solution:

1. Get 3-saddle compensated Wilky
2. Do not look back
3. Profit
