6505+ (amazing!) and Windsor

Local guitar center restocked.. I played a Windsor today. Sounds cool.. Has a different tone that I could have fun with.. However, I dont see it as something I could use ongoing..

Then, I plug up a 6505+.. Holy mucking fackeral!! that thing sounds huge and amazing!! I love my Ultra plus, but the 6505+ has a fatter sound.. Its unreal..
Can anyone tell me if the 6505 cabs are really a contributor to the tone or is it mostly in the head?? I have a carvin cab. I just wasnt sure how unique the 6505 cabs are..
I LOVE that head tho!!
Again, the windsor is cool too, but I just think it would be limited use.

Its a bit of the cab.. my splawn is good and has a t75 and governor, but in the store it just sounds fatter with the peavey cab. Dunno.

It's partially the cab, but it can sound better with other cabinets (V30's).


I've never heard my 5150 sound better than through a Mesa 4x12.
