6505+hum

Hey guys having some issues with my 6505+ combo. Its a static humm noise on both channels, but louder on the clean channel. Tried different guitars, cables, diffierent cabs, rooms same problem. Gets louder if a turn the volume up.

Tried a power tube swap and smae problem. Preamp tube maybe?

IIRC, if it's specific to one channel, it's a preamp tube problem. Guys with more knowledge about the 6505 will chime in.

It could be the preamp tubes I had a 6534+. Same amp but with el34's it came with noisy pre tubes. I changed them and it did help some. But the 6505 have more noise than alot of amps. I ended up having to get noise suppressor pedal for mine.
