7-string pickup question.

I just picked up a DeArmond S-67 7-string. I is a cheaper version of the Guild S-100 that Kim Thayil from Soundgarden played. Looks like a 7-string Gibson SG. Anyway, What pickups would give me a nice crunchy metal tone ala Machine Head without flubbing up the low end. I'm thinking about actives but does anybody have any experience with the Dimarzio Tone Zone 7? Or what about the Duncan Distortion 7? Thanks for looking.:friday:

I was going to recommend the Tone Zone 7. I had one of those when I played a 7 string, it was tight and heavy.
