80's Laney PT30 head - decision guidance please

i have an option to buy an Laney PT30 head for 299 eur

i wonder if this baby would fit my needs for blues/rock ?

in general i'm looking for an producitve amp;
i'm unsure if i should go for a new Fender Pro Junior Combo with 212 cab
as option or the 30W head with 212 cab.

flexibility versus wattage. I don't care the features.
I can't borrow them to test it out.
What makes more sence ?
