I sold the JCM800 I had listed here last week and now, 1-24-08, I'm selling another one that's even nicer!

This is a great amp! 50 watt, Two 12" speaker model but no speakers incuded, Model 4104 combo model from 1982 with vertical inputs.

This is the highly sought after '82 model.

I can only ship to the USA. Please don't ask me to ship outside of the USA on this one.

I'll be taking it to Bruce this weekend at Mission Amps and we'll go through it one more time and get it tuned up.

There's no speakers in this one. I can include some Vintage 30's but it would be cheaper for you to provide your own speakers and the Celestions I would recommend would be the G1265 or G12H-30.

Thanks! Lew

This should fly right off the shelf.
I like this model so much that I got a little carried away and now have three Jolly! I'm keeping my single 12 4010, but the other two with two 12's just don't get played enough. Plus I need some money to finance the new Lew Collins Signature amps Bruce and are just about ready to start producing. So I'm goign to sell a few things are a great to have, but which I don't really need. Thanks! Lew

Hey Lew! I have a buddy over at Shred Guitars that is looking for something like this. He's in CA and won't be home from work for a few hours, but I'll go ahead and send him a message.

Cool! Be sure to let him know that Bruce can perform any mods or tweaks if he'd like when we go through this amp and service it. I really want whoever gets this amp to love it.

I really want whoever gets this amp to love it, so we'll install new EL-34's in it, check the preamp tubes and caps and replace any that need it and making certain it's perfect.

We're trading txt messages right now about it. I'm going to steal some of your pictures and send them to him!

Re: '82 Marshall JCM800 50 watt

Someone take this off of Lew's hands. It's too metal for him!!!!

Seriously though, great amps, and I'm sure it's great quality coming from him.

It's a great amp but at 50 watts, it's a little to much amp for me. I have a 4010 one 12 version of the same amp and even THAT'S to much amp for me! :laugh2:

Re: '82 Marshall JCM800 50 watt

Just a bump. It really is a very cool amp and I'd love to see it go to one of my friends here on the forum. Thanks! Lew

I'm watching it Lew, kinda undecided if I want a 2-12 combo or not, uggh, my back hurts just thinking about lugging it up stairs.

Hi Mitch, I'd be happy to sell it to you if you want to work out the shipping details and find a way to ship it at a reasonable cost. I just don't have the time. UPS was pretty steep and USPS wouldn't even touch it. Thanks! Lew

Re: '82 Marshall JCM800 50 watt

Sounds like a fantastic amp, Lew. If I were looking for a new amp right now, I'd snatch this thing up like nobody's business! :)

Re: '82 Marshall JCM800 50 watt

yea Lew thats ok, I hope whoever gets it will appreciate it...I picked up a JCM 900 MK III model 2500.....it was local and all around it's pretty awesome...but yea who knows I'm landing a new job soon (I hope...interview Monday)...so If all goes well and you still have one of those Mofo's around....I'll deffinatly look into what we could do about darn shipping:D
