I'd forgotten about this one. I found it today while I was looking for something else.
It's a 1983 Washburn Force 3 (I think...). Obviously based on a Strat,Ash body,maple neck/'board.


I brought it at a swap meet about 5 years ago. I got it for 2 reasons. First,I'd never seen a transparent green one before,and second,coz it was 20 bucks!!
I took it home,cleaned it up,replaced the bridge pickup,restrung it,put it in a gig bag and forgot all about it!!
It plays pretty well. It has a "V" neck profile and medium frets. It has a long tenon,bolt on neck with fantastic upper fret access.
It has genuine patina!!

Wiring is interesting.The middle pickup is RWRP,which was not featured on many guitars until the 90's,and it has a phase switch for positions 2 & 4.
So lots of very usable Stratty type sounds.
Anyway,it has to go,just thought I'd post it before it leaves.
