96 Fender CS American Classic Player Tele. This guitar was part of a run that the Fender CS did in the mid to late 90's. It combines the best sonic elements of a Tele and Strat because it has a Tele pup in the bridge and Strat pups in the middle and neck positons. It is finished in a cool subtle black sparkle paint.
The guitar is in excellent shape with a couple of minor headstock nicks that I've captured in pictures. The neck is straight and flamey (moderately on back and slighty on fretboard). I would describe the neck size as being in the middle of skinny and fat with a 9.5" radius. The frets are of medium size with little fretwear and plenty of life left in them.
The bridge and saddles have been upgraded with Callaham parts. The guitar sports a five way switch that is configured much like a strat.
The guitar comes with a nice brown tolex Fender/G&G case. I do not have the CS certificate due to the loss of some boxes in my last major move by the moving company.
