A $1600 Schecter C-1 Classic ?!?!

Well, i have serious gas for a Schecter C-1 Classic, which is'nt a very expensive guitar, i've seen it for $500-750 on musicians friend and guitar centre on the internet. So i guessed that i could call a shop here in norway and order one for a resonable price.

And guess what? They want 1600 dollars for one of them!

That is just plain robbery, or what do you think?!

I say have somebody over here buy one for next to nothing, and ship it to you!

Oh yeah, and that's a load of sh*t. Non-USA customers get ripped on a lot of this stuff. I know that British dudes end up paying almost twice what we do for Duncan pickups.

find one on ebay for a good price from a seller that ships worldwide and save a ton...don't buy one for $1600 that's nuts no matter what!!

Well, that seems like a good idea, but here is the funny thing:

The norwegian tax and duty department!
I've spoke to a guy who tried to import one, and he ended up paying just as much. You can't even send a CHRISTMAS PRESENT without paying taxes of the value of the item.

That's Sick!!!

dude.. check out thomann.de
it delivers to most of europe. altho more expensive than US, that prices are still arent as crazy as what you have mentioned. their pallete is quite huge but they dun carry any schecters.
