A bit excited...i get my mesa .50 calibre+ combo on monday!

Cant wait to get this thing and see what the gain channel is like, ive heard its pretty rockin! Ive already heard the cleans and i know they're amazing.

As far as i know it comes with a mesa black shadow speaker. Mmmmmm

hey tell us how the gain and well the rest of the amp is like. i have been considering buying a .50 cal but i havent played on one in a few years and cant find any in a local shop....so i have to go the internet route. tell us how u like it

Cal 50....is that not with EL-84's in the outputstage??

some early 50cals came with (4)el84 and the rest came with (2)6l6 i just got rid of mine traded a small head for a marshall sl-x head w/el34!!!!! the 50 cal's lead channel has gain for days and is kinda dark and heavy cool tones !!!!!!!

I like those amps alot. But my favrite Mesa amp is the SubWay Rocket Reverb and it has the same Black Shadow speakers witch sound great as well.
