A couple of forum collaborations

Stevo

Tonus Maximus Pacificas
For those of you who are relatively new around here, you may not have been around when we (forum members) collaborated on these jams.

I recorded the backing tracks and a solo - everyone else sent me a solo - then I plugged it in to the recording. There are contributions from several countries, and if you listen, you will find that we have some great players here :)

There are 2-3 more but these are the only ones that I can find at the moment :D
rock tune
spanish blues

Re: A couple of forum collaborations

hahaha. my take sort of sucked. I thought i was a little better than that :D. I'd hate to try that again now, i havent tried playing lead guitar in so long.

Re: A couple of forum collaborations

Do you still have the backing track for the spanish blues one? Sounds like it'd be cool to jam to

Btw I think David might've been a little younger than 15 judging by his tone and chops. I remember hearing clips of him at 15 and he had a totally different tone and was much more in control of his playing

Re: A couple of forum collaborations

COOL!! Blast from the Past.:D I think that's me at 2:43. Lee went after T.O. if I remember? Then he just went.:laugh2:

Re: A couple of forum collaborations

Thanks for the updates.

You are probably right about his age. I will see if I can find that track, in my archives.

Re: A couple of forum collaborations

Damn, sounds like one big wankfest in that rock track..a lot of it sounds too alike for my taste..Gotta check out the blues now.

Re: A couple of forum collaborations

Christ that bluestrack is KILLER.. I like it alot more than the rock track.

it's killer overall, but the solo at 02:17 is orgasmic to say the least, IMO... I really love bluesy solos (probably why I absolutely love many of Tony Iommi's solos)

The last one is pretty cool too, I especially like where it follows the melody of the chords.

Thanks.. that was total improv, and I'm not sure that I could duplicate it :laugh2:

Doesn't matter, since you've recorded it, you can still listen to it when you like..

Re: A couple of forum collaborations

I would like to be a part of something like this

some nice playing in the tunes, BTW
