A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

Finally, good clips of the FS in a hard rock setting, on YT the only clips are mainly djenty stuff. BTW, in what guitar are they installed?

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

It was a friends guitar & playing just my amps.

It was an rg1570. He's got a youtube channel numbskull audio with a playthrough of this with a recto.

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

Nice and tight on the SLOclone. Is it the crunch channel? Thumbs up for keeping the good old 80s vibe alive, eF yeah!

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

Thanks, these are really good. I've got a Full Shred neck and am considering getting a bridge model and this is close to my style.
It sounds pretty tight, chunky, and a little compressed and focused on the clips, which I like. Is that a pretty accurate representation of how they sound live?

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

Great clips! I'd love to hear his recordings doing some cleaner things as well.

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

WOW!!! I can feel my hair growing as I listened. Where is that ji-- in my pants picture?? Really hard to say which I like better, The slo was def darker. Great playing and tone!!

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

I have a Full Shred in the bridge of an old Explorer and really like it.

Those clips are a great representation of that pickup too.

The Yeti sounds even better in person!

Re: A couple of Fullshred Bridge clips.

It was the lead channel with the gain on about 3.5.

If you are liking it I'll be sure to link to Matts instrumental album when it's finished.

I'm sure there will be plenty of cleaner stuff on the final release. Unfortunately it won't have the FS on as he swapped it for a distortion. Brow now has this exact Fullshred.

This is a fairly good representation. They're very focused and have a pretty flat frequency response which is perfect for many guitars and amps.

It is a very guitar sensitive pickup though. It was pretty dark in mahogany.

That would be cool!!

Man, Ive always been curious about the full shred, but shied away thinking it would be too bright or thin or something.. want to try one, but just afraid to drop the $$. I sure as heck cant play like that...

I wish I could play like that!

The fs is definitely worth a shot.

To me is the pickup that's in my head from the way people who like the jb describe it. Minus the huge mid spike that is.
