Hey you know what. I am intrested in that Sheceter C-1 you got there. I currently reside in Canada. Would you be able to ship here? I am not for certain I am little sketchy on buying things without playing them.

Edit: Oops nevermind, its an XXX I have to play this guitar in Church lol. Great.. just great...

Re: A few more guitars FOR SALE...

What voicing does that Tempest have now with the P-85's? How are the cleans? Can it handle mild OD well? If you can't tell, i'm kind of interested. :burnout:

Re: A few more guitars FOR SALE...

broken...well the XXX in church may be a bit odd. hey, you can always say the girls are dancing in praise :D

Benjy....the tempest being very similar to a les paul in it's style (all mahogany, set neck, maple cap, rosewod board, stoptail and TOM and 24.75" scale) is as close as you can get to a les paul like sound without being a les paul. grated it's not 100% les paul sound but it's in that area i guess would be the best way to describe it. as for the emg p-85s they sound just like full size emg 85s. not as harsh as the 81, much more warmth and fuller sounding. they clean up very well and can do anything from classic rock to all out metal depending on the amp and how you set it. i actually use the guitar mostly for drop D tuning...thus the heavy gauge strings i have on it now.

Re: A few more guitars FOR SALE...

cool. :)

Is it possible to go back to "normal" P-90's on that thing, or did you have to mod the cavities (mounting holes) for the EMG's?

Re: A few more guitars FOR SALE...

no mods were done what so ever to alter it. so going back to real p-90s is just as simple as buying 3 pots,a cap and pickups and putting them in. i think i have the stock pickups (duncan designed p-90 stacks) that i can toss in with it if you wanted but they're nothing special. hence why they cam out quick. i may even have the stock pots around here but again...nothing special ust stock schecter stuff.
